In today’s world, the increasing importance of individuals and knowledge as well as the rising value of time necessitate responding to people’s need to obtain information within an ideal time period and without any space constraints. In parallel with the possibilities created by advancing technology, education can now be delivered at any time and place and thus, resources can be utilized more efficiently.
Istanbul Medeniyet University Distance Education Centre (IMUZEM) was established in 2014. In the 2017-2018 academic year, the Center started to deliver distance education for common compulsory courses and several certificate programs were opened with the Continuing Education Center.
It is also planned to open new graduate programs jointly with our Institute of Graduate Studies.
